एक पत्र - व्यवहार : ज्यातून एक जबाबदारी पेलायची जाणीव झाली

वर्धा : भारतातल्या महाराष्ट्र राज्यातील अस एक गाव ज्या गावाला बौद्ध तत्त्वज्ञ धम्मानंद कोसंबींच्या निर्वाण भूमीचा ऐतिहासिक वारसा लाभला आहे, त्याच गावात १९९३ साली महाकवी वामनदादांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली पहिले आंबेडकरी साहित्य संमेलन संपन्न झाले आणि ' आंबेडकरी साहित्य ' ही संज्ञा पुढे आली. आज या घटनेला दीड दशक पूर्ण होत आहे. त्या दरम्यान तीन अ. भा. आंबेडकरी साहित्य संमेलने या शहराने आयोजित केली. त्यानंतर हे तिसरे आंबेडकरी युवा साहित्य संमेलन या शहराने आयोजित केले. त्याच्या अध्यक्ष पदाच्या संदर्भात झालेला हा ई- मेल व्यवहार

Sir,

we the Ambedkari Sahitya Parishad are very happy to inform you that we are conducting 3rd Ambedkari Yuwa Sahitya Sammelan in Wardha on 2nd jan 2011। As you know, we have already decided that you have to preside over the Sammelan and I have already discussed with the other members of the Sanwardhan Mandal and everybody delighted with your name and given approval
Officially, president & secretary of the Mandal may not have given you official letter, they should have given, but they are ringing you continuously regarding your presiding। I think we all are responsible for this telephone process because since the mandal established and Amravati sammelan was over we didn’t took any meeting regarding establishment of mandal. All the procedures and the discussions of the mandal we shared telephonically, it means we have recocknize telephone is official part. At this time also president and secretary are doing the same. I think this is the technical point but important is the emotions of all members who have given consent and they are very delighted with your name.

Having discussion with Mandal officers, being a cashier of Mandal, president of the Ambedkari Sahitya Parishad and organizer of the 3rd yuwa sammelan, on behalf of all these things, I am conveying you the decision that you have been elected to preside over the 3rd Ambedkari Yuwa Sahitya Sammelan. Actually we have started the preparation with your name and nothing can do at this stage.

We the Wardhawasi have a lack of writers and speakers so don’t understand that what we have to write and what not, but our emotions are true and very transparent. If any thing gone wrong here, I apologize that.

Finally, we hope that you will consider this as an invitation and will convey the positive consent to president and secretary of mandal either telephonically or by any medium which you decide.

अर्थात, हा ई-मेल अनपेक्षित नव्हता त्याचा तगादा गेल्या वर्षभरापासूनच सुरु होता. काही जबाबदरया माणसाची इच्छा असो वा नसो त्या सामाजिक दायित्व म्हणून स्वीकाराव्याच लागतात.

आपण दिलेल्या निमंत्रणाचा स्वीकार करताना जेवढा आनंद व्हायला हवा होता तेवढा तो होत नाही. गेल्या वर्षभरापासून आपण करीत असलेला हा आग्रह आणि वर्धेकरांशी असणारा अत्यंत घनिष्ट कौटोम्बिक संबंध यामुळे हे निमंत्रण टाळता येणार नाही याची मला तीव्र जाणीव आहे.

मुळात आपण सर्व एकाच कुटुंबातले, हे कुटुंब साकारताना किती कष्ट पडतात हे आपण सगळे जाणताच या सगळ्या प्रकरणात हे कुटुंब बाधित होऊ नये किंवा कुठलाही गैरसमज निर्माण होऊ नये असे मनापासून वाटते. हा या कुटुंबातल्या माणसांनी केलेला सन्मान आहे. एकमेकाबद्दल असलेल्या आपुलकीतून तो माझ्या वाट्याला आला आहे. ही माझ्या पाठीवरची थापही नाही; किंवा माझ्या कर्तुत्वाचा गौरव पण नाही, ही एक जबाबदारी आहे. ती मला पेलते किंवा नाही याचा कोणताही विचार न करता मी ती स्वीकारत आहे. अर्थात, आपला मझ्यावर अतिरेकी असणारा विश्वास आणि चळवळीवर असणारी निष्टा यामुळे ही जबाबदारी देखील हलकी वाटेल याबद्दल कुठलीही शंका नाही.

काय आहे अरविंदराव! आपण सगळेच या सगळ्या मान - सन्मानाच्या पल्याड गेलेली माणस आहोत, आपण असे आहोत, म्हणूनच या वास्तवात टिकून आहोत. हेच जर आपल्यातून निघून गेल तर?

अर्थात, या वास्तवात टिकण्याच्या किंवा न टिकण्याच्या भीतीपोटी मी बोलत नाही, तर या पद्धतीने काम करणारी; आणि समाजाचा विश्वास संपादन केलेली मंडळी आज कुठेच दिसत नाही; आणि अशा आपल्या भावनिक वर्तनातून आपणही बाद झालो तर, आपल्या व्यक्तिगत हानीपेक्षा जी सामाजिक हानी होणार आहे, ती फार मोठी असणार आहे,

कोणत्याही माणसाला मन असते आणि तेच आपल्या समजण्याच्या पलीकडे असते. म्हणून सगळेच वांदे आहेत .असो जे काय असेल किंवा होईल ते आताच सांगता येणार नसले तरी आपण मात्र याचे भान ठेवले पाहिजे असे मला वाटते. असो आपण सगळे मिळून या संमेलनाला ऐतिहासिक बनवण्याचा प्रयत्न करू या! आभार कसले मानायचे ? आपल्या अर्थात वर्धेकारांच्या मनातल्या आपुलकीपेक्षा ते मोठे नाही. बस ती टिकावी अधिक वृद्धिंगत व्हावी एवढीच विनम्र अपेक्षा! आंबेडकारी साहित्य परिषदेच्या सर्वाना जयभीम!
